Is your nose always dripping? Do you have contested sinuses and difficulty breathing? Do you leave a trail of Kleenex wherever you go?
Arborvitae essential oil is the support you need to get through the winter season! Regularly used by the Native Americans, arborvitae oil offers a number of health benefits and additional practical benefits, as well.
For instance, the oil possesses natural preservative properties that help protect against wood rot. In fact, the Arborvitae tree is called the tree of life, and the wood, itself, lived plenty of life, providing baskets, vessels, totem poles, clothing, and many other goods for the Native Americans.
The oil supplies similar properties when it comes to bodily health by supporting normal cell activity and combatting harmful environmental elements and seasonal threats. This is largely due to its high tropolone content. The oils strong purifying and cleansing properties, along with its natural ability to repel insects, make it one powerful agent to have on hand when you’re venturing out of doors.
To cleanse and purify surfaces or hands, add 3-4 drops arborvitae to a spray bottle then fill the rest with distilled water. Shake well and use as needed.
For bodily health, put 1-2 drops on your pulse points to support natural cell function.
You can also use arborvitae to scare those bugs away by diffusing the oil throughout the affected area or creating your own bug spray.
Lastly, you can apply arborvitae topically to support skin health. Simply rub 1-2 drops softly over the affected area.
