This detoxifying essential oil supports healthy bodily function by enhancing circulation and helping to rid of toxins in the liver, blood, gallbladder, and lymph. With a scent that fortifies feelings of security and stability, helichrysums anti-inflammatory, astringent, antiseptic, antioxidant, and antifungal properties are beneficial to the skin, especially when it comes to sunscreen recipes.
UV rays cause skin to age into a tough and leathery shell. If you want your skin to look young and healthy for as long as possible, then you must religiously apply sunscreen when exposed to the sun. Some essential oils provide natural sun protection; myrrh and helichrysum are two of those oils.
Combine these two skin-happy oils in a sunscreen blend that’s easy to toss together, smells fantastic, and provides your skin with the benefit of innumerable skin strengthening properties.
